 Haflong : A new news channel in the name and style of  NorthEast Vision was inaugurated by the Chairman, Umrangso Town Committee  Danish Teron on Thursday.

The inaugural function held at Umrangso market was attended by Danish Teron as the chief guest, Anup Biswas, Senior Journalist, and several members of Haflong Press Club.

The function started with the lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest and was accompanied by several other dignitaries and Gaon Buras of Garampani Constituency.

Swadeep Hasamsa while appreciating the organizers and wished every success of the channel in future. He also said a journalist wants nothing since they work selflessly but some respect should be there in the name of a journalist.

All other speakers also wished very bright and prosperous future of the channel while reminding all the members that they have some responsibility towards the society.

All the guests were felicitated with mementos and Risa by themembers of NEV Tv channel as token of love and respect.

Earlier, Amol Daolagajao, Member of NE Vision explained the aims and objective of the Channel and accorded a very warm welcome to the guests and others.

This was followed by Musical night by the local artiste and others.
