Actor Rakesh Kukreti & Actress Neha Mehta grace the occasion.

Mumbai : The pandemic has made our body more vulnerable to several other diseases and in the case of terminal illness like Cancer, if not detected early, it becomes difficult to survive for many. Thus, continuing with its samaritan efforts of initiating treatment for over lacs of Cancer patients all over India, NGO Vishwas organised a Cancer Detection Camp on Sunday, 29th August where slot wise people underwent various tests, for different types of cancer detection. A team of Doctors from Cancer Patients Association (CPA) played a very instrumental role in the smooth execution of the camp along with Avinash Dharmadhikari ACP, Mumbai Police.

Suresh Agrawal – Founder, NGO Vishwas said, “It is very important for us to take the first step and then expect people to follow. We believe in leading by example and thus, I am very happy that all the hardwork has paid off well when today, we made so many people realize the importance of taking periodic cancer detection tests”.

In an attempt to make this communication reach millions, Actors Neha Mehta and Rakesh Kukreti supported the event and spoke to all people about the significance of the initiatives too. Says Actor Rakesh Kukreti, “We have grown up knowing the fact that Precaution is Better then Cure, but it is seldom we practice it. But when good souls such as Suresh ji, take these efforts, its made all the more easy for people to step ahead and think about these important things which will go on to make so much difference in our lives.”
