  • Bengaluru : NIRAMAI Health Analytix, a deep-tech health startup known for its innovative AI and thermal-imaging-based breast cancer screening test, has put up a unique and first-of-its-kind health PoD at Vega City Mall, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru, for a non-touch and painless breast cancer screening experience with an inaugural offer of just Rs. 99! It is in a completely privacy-aware environment where no one enters the kiosk except for the person undergoing the screening. This inaugural offer is available every day from 11am till 8pm till 31st December, 2021.

    The screening is taking place on the 3rd floor of the mall, next to the food court area.  A technician from Niramai is always present to facilitate the same. Utmost care is undertaken

    by the NIRAMAI team to follow all Covid protocols to provide the screening in a touch-free and fully sanitized environment. The technician wears the protection gears to ensure COVID safety measures at all points. The lady technician gives out a health report immediately after the screening is done.

    As per the 2020 cancer statistics, breast cancer is a leading cancer in India with almost 57% diagnosed in advanced stages. In India, over the period of 2 decades, women diagnosed under 40 years have almost doubled and 30% of breast cancer patients are aged under 50 years. Advanced stage diagnosis are the main reasons for increased mortality rates in breast cancer patients in the Indian scenario.
