Noida International University organized the orientation program of B.Sc Nursing, GNM and ANM students on 1st August, 2022. Orientation day is an important first day of any university where the students are briefed about the programs they have accepted and enrolled themselves according to their choices, it is also a day to take the new students through specific activities and tours to introduce them to the newly environment and also to get them acquainted with the policies and teaching pedagogy of Noida International University, School of Nursing.

Over 100 students along with their parents attended the orientation program which began with student registration at 11:00 am and the dignitaries who graced the event with their benevolent presence, includes Prof. (Dr) Ashia Qureshi, Former Dean of School of Nursing, Galgotias University (Chief Guest); Prof. (Dr) Vikram Singh, Hon’ble Chancellor, Noida International University; Prof. (Dr) Uma Bhardwaj, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Noida International University; Prof. (Dr) Parsanjeet Kumar, Hon’ble Pro Vice-Chancellor, Noida International University; Prof. (Dr) Mukesh Parashar, Hon’ble Registrar, Noida International University; Dr. Ashutosh Niranjan, Dean of Noida Institute of Medical Sciences (Guest of Honour) and Dr. Manu Arora, Medical Superintendent of Noida Institute of Medical Sciences (Guest of Honour).

Welcoming the students on their first day, Hon’ble Chancellor, Noida International University, Prof. (Dr) Vikram Singh said, “Congratulations for taking the first step towards a bright future. At Noida International University, we aim to transform young and enthusiastic student to a disciplined, creative and an ethical professional who is ready not only for industry, but for life as well”.

NIU’s Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Uma Bhardwaj said “It is our great honor to have such brilliant minds on board this year and we welcome all the students to this new phase of their life. We have knowledgeable faculty members and world-class infrastructure that helps students in their career pathing. Research and Innovation are two strong pillars that we train are students in to make them better professionals’’.

Hon’ble Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Parsanjeet Kumar also enlightened the newly admitted students with a brief description of the University, which included the motto, history and reputation of the university and college along with the recent achievements of the institution.

Chief Guest of the event, Prof. (Dr) Aisha Qureshi said “I am delighted to be invited as a chief guest in the orientation program and I feel so blessed to meet such brilliant minds. Noida International University is a temple of knowledge dissemination and will be able to provide the learning required to produce skilled health care professionals.

The event was taken forward with a dynamic address from Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Kumar, Dean School of Nursing who gave a brief description of the nursing career which motivated the entire student present in the hall, further he also gave the presentation of the School of the Nursing, various laboratories, faculties, clinical facilities and other amenities in the NIU campus.

Orientation Day offers a chance to students to interact with the faculty members of the University and get to know all about this esteemed educational institution of which they have become an integral part.
