  • North East girls cycle expedition for unity and cultural fabric

    Mangaldai  : Aiming at creating awareness of unity, diversity and cultural fabric of our Nation among the students, the Red Horns Division of the Army under operation Sadbhavana has taken up adventure sports activity like the cycling as a strong means to come closer to populace and develop a bond of mutual faith and truth . As a part of this noble initiative a cycling expedition from Udalguri to Dirang in Arunachal Pradesh has been organized for twenty selected teenage girls from various regions of the North East . The expedition was flagged off at Rangiya Military Station by GOC Red Horns Division on Tuesday .During this expedition the team is scheduled to visit the picturesque Sengti Valley , local monasteries around Bomdila and tribal Dzong village.The team will also be actively participating in presenting social mines on regional and national issues . This has been stated in a press communication by Red Horns Division received here on Wednesday
