Oil prices today fell, pressured by fears about a slow recovery in the global economy and fuel demand due to rising COVID-19 infections, but the market remained on track for a second straight weekly gain, helped by hopes for a vaccine.
In intra-day trade, Brent crude prices were trading around 43 dollars per barrel while WTI crude prices were around 40 dollars and 50 cents per barrel.
