Wholesale price-based inflation stands at -0.58 percent in July

Oil today remained below 45 US dollars a barrel, giving up some gains of this week. Crude prices came under pressure from doubts about demand recovery due to the coronavirus pandemic and rising supply.
In intra-day trade, Brent crude prices were trading around 44 dollars and 95 cents per barrel while WTI crude prices were around 42 dollars and 25 cents per barrel.
