  • Once land of culture, India has now become land of opportunities: VP Naidu

    Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu has said that once the land of culture, India has now become the land of opportunities.

    Delivering the valedictory address at 9th Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit held at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhingar, Mr. Naidu said that the Summit has now become a global platform, where countries from across the globe not only come together for business ventures but social, environmental and humanitarian issues are discussed with the same zeal.

    He said that from textile to Diamonds, Gujaratis have made a mark in almost every commercial enterprise because of their hard work and business sense.

    Vice President also released the souvenir on Gujarat Investors Paradise, a showcase of successful projects to mark the 9th edition of this global summit.

    Speaking on this occasion, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has said that Gujarat has not only done the branding but also bonding with the world.

    He said that Gujarat is now a gateway to the world market. He said that by celebrating the Africa Day, we have strengthened the relations with African continent.

    Mr. Rupani said that more than 28 thousand Memorandum of Understandings have been signed during this three day summit.

    He said that every successive Vibrant Gujarat Summit has created the opportunities for the MSME sector to access the global markets.

    Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit 2019 ended on a high note with Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu’s remarks that once the land of culture, India has now become the land of opportunities.

    The highlights of the concluding day of the summit is Seminars on various sectors like textile, labor and employment, renewable energy, agriculture and water technology.

    Union Minister for textile Mrs. Smriti Irani, Union Minister of State for farmers welfare Parshottam Rupala, senior cabinet ministers and bureaucrats addressed the delegates from participating countries.

    Series of Memorandum of Understanding had been signed in various sectors, however maximum maximum MoUs had been signed in MSME sector.  State Energy Minister Saurabh Patel has said that Rs. 1 lakh crore Investment  will flow in for the production and distribution of renewable energy through private sector.
