One Man Commission over electrocution cases in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar, July 11: A hearing has been taken over electrocution cases that happened in various places in Kokrajhar, Chirang and Dhubri districts. Chairman of One Man Commission, Justice HN Sarma attended the hearing session at Circuit House in Kokrajhar.
Victim families appeared before the Justice Sarma and gave details about the electrocution cases occurred at various places in Kokrajhar, Chirang and Dhubri districts. Atleast four victim families who died due to electrocuted attended the hearing. The hearing was taken against electrocution cases which took place since April 2017 till date.
Justice Sarma paid kind attention to the hearing in the presence of Assam Power Distribution Company Limited.
Sarma said that the hearing committee which was formed by state government to take stock about electrocuted cases that are happening across the state.
