Operation Food Search Adds New Team Members

St. Louis, Mo.,: Operation Food Search (OFS), a non-profit hunger relief organization, recently hired Claire Conroy as Nutrition Education Program Coordinator and Jocelyn Fundoukos as Communications Manager.

In this position, Conroy will teach nutrition education and Cooking Matters classes in the community, as well as coordinate satellite partnerships for the program.  She will handle organizing volunteers for the classes, working toward expanding volunteerism within the nutrition education team and enhancing retention strategies.  Conroy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics with an emphasis in the Culinary Arts from Saint Louis University.  She completed her dietetic internship at Tulane University in New Orleans, and she earned her Master’s degree in Medical Dietetics from Saint Louis University.

 

Fundoukos’ responsibilities include managing internal and external communications, as well as marketing.  She will focus on changing the conversation around food insecurity by engaging donors, advocates, lawmakers and community partners.  Prior to joining the agency, she worked as a strategic communications and marketing consultant at nonprofits and businesses.  Fundoukos earned Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Virginia.
