Pathankot(Punjab):  No firing has been reported today  from inside the Indian Airforce base as the operation entered the fourth day.  Security personnel of Indian Air Force, NSG and Army  are continuing  the combing  operation  in the airbase to sanitize the defence camp . Helicopters are supporting the ground combing.  Defence sources maintained that all defence installations are safe. However, during combing every part of airbase is being checked.

Security forces declared yesterday that fifth terrorists was killed and the building in which they were hiding was also bombarded. Security forces are not sure about the number of terrorists who sneaked in the airbase. Security forces came into action immediately after noticing the terrorists and confined them to area away from where valuable defence equipment was located.
