Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey has come out on top of Forbes magazine’s rich list once gain, pipping ‘Avatar’ director James Cameron to be named Hollywood’s top earning celebrity.

The media mogul added a neat USD 315 million to her bank balance in 2010 while the success of his sci-fi epic put Cameron in second place with an estimated USD 210 million haul, according to Forbes.com.

The 56-year-old who will launch her own TV channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) after bidding adieu to her flagship ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’, had earlier topped Forbes’ list of the Most Powerful Celebrities and was also named the most charitable in tinseltown.

Winfrey’s pal, filmmaker Tyler Perry too has stormed to the top of the magazine’s end-of-year rich list with earnings of USD 125 million, grabbing the third spot.

Cameron’s peers Steven Spielberg, Jerry Bruckheimer, George Lucas and Michael Bay also make the top 10.

The highest musician on the list is Beyonce, who lands ahead of Lady Gaga and Britney Spears on the coveted list at number nine with an USD 87 million 2010 windfall.

Spears came in at 13, while Gaga closely followed at 14. Also in the top 20 are Madonna, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift.
