Kochi: Oreol Academy in association with Futureace Hospital has organised a two-day workshop on laser surgery. More than 150 surgeons from 40 countries, including 10 from India, attended the workshop held online. As part of the workshop, the latest bio-laser surgery for piles, fistula, and fissures was successfully performed on five patients.
The workshop was held under Dr. Neeraj Goyel, world-famous trainer in proctology laser surgery and Associate Director, Laparoscopic, Laser, Robotic and General Surgery, Max Healthcare Delhi; Dr. R. Padmakumar, HoD, Department of Minimally Invasive Surgery, Lakeshore Hospital and Managing Director, Keyhole Clinic, Dr. Madhukar Pai and Dr. Resnsin.
Oreol Academy CEO Praveen Knight and Executive Director Amal A K introduced and trained the participants in Bio Laser technology. Futureace Hospital General Manager Mr. Shiyas and Oreol Academy COO Neelima Joseph also addressed the workshop.
