Uttar Pradesh, the administration has so far handed over Rs. 2.5 crore to the victims of violence in Muzaffarnagar and adjoining districts, as a relief measure announced by the state government.

The authorities are in the process to provide the relief to everyone who was either injured or if any of their kin had lost life in the recent violence that swept the major parts of Muzaffanagar and some parts of Meerut, Shamli and Baghpat.
