Today, under the aegis of OYO Partner Engagement Network (OPEN), we are excited to take our relationship with our asset owner community to the next level with the launch of the Partner Privilege Program for our top performers. With this program, we aim to accelerate business growth and create a mechanism for continual engagement and recognition. This is the third major initiative under OPEN after the launch of 6 core promises, Co-OYO app, and Cash in Bank facility earlier this year. Top-performing OYO asset owners across the country stand to benefit from a suite of products and services and as we go along, we hope to strengthen the ranks of the Partner Privilege Program beneficiaries”

At the launch event, 3 top-performing asset owners from Mumbai were felicitated by OYO and handed over the first Partner Privilege Cards. These asset owners were rewarded for growing their business successfully with OYO with a strong focus on customer experience.

Mohammed Nensey OYO Hotel owner shared, “We have been in the hospitality industry for generations. Coming together with OYO felt like a collaboration between two like minds in the true sense. Value-added services offered by OYO has helped us take our business to the next level in a short period of time – something we couldn’t have imagined when we moved back to India. I strongly believe that both of us are in a win-win situation – only offering the best to our guests. I look forward to getting most of my other properties associated with OYO soon!”

Anup Shetty, OYO Hotel owner shared, “I began my humble journey as a hotelier a couple of years ago. From being a steward to now someone who runs 4 successful properties, it has been quite an exciting ride for me. I  honestly feel that associating with OYO was a very wise decision. The OYO team has supported me on-ground as well as marketing my hotel/s so much so that the occupancy has increased manifold with great customer feedback. I am confident that this association with OYO will only grow from here and I will be able to further achieve my goals”

Overall, OYO’s annual retention is as high as 99.5%  across the chain in India & South Asia. On an average, over 75% of hotel owners associated with OYO have seen an increase of almost 3X+ in occupancy, a 2.5X jump in RevPar and a significant jump in profit. Partnering with OYO significantly improves the quality of the standalone hotel and improves occupancy from 25% to 75% on an average within just 3 months, increasing the yield on underutilized assets.

Notably, over 90% of business at OYO hotels in India are being generated by the repeat, direct or word of mouth customers. What makes this possible is the continued joint commitment between OYO and its building owners to uphold the high-quality service levels and benchmark customer experience and focus on delivering the best quality of experience. As the biggest hotel chain in the country, the focus on customer experience and investments on CapEx and service will be at the heart of OYO’s enduring promise to its 20 million+ customers in South Asia.
