  • Pak violate ceasefire again, shelling in Nowshera sector of Rajouri sectors

    Srinagar: In Jammu and Kashmir violating ceasefire again Pakistani forces resorted to heavy shelling and firing along the Line of Control in Nowshera Sector of Rajouri district today.

    According to Defence sources, Pakistani forces started unprovoked firing and shelling targeting Indian positions in Baba Khori area. Army troops guarding the borderline retaliated to the fire with similar calibre and gave befitting reply.

    terrorThe intermittent exchange of fire lasted for two hours. No injury or damage has been, reported so far, from the Indian side.

    In the latest incident of ceasefire violation, Pakistani Rangers again resort to shelling this afternoon in RS Pura Sector of Jammu and Kashmir along the International Border.

    BSF sources told AIR that Pakistani forces started firing in Abduliian area around 1230 pm. BSF retaliated the fire. Exchange of fire was continuing when reports last came in.

    Pakistani shelling along the International Border in Jamnu district yesterday left a BSF jawan and a child killed while as many as eight civilians and one BSF personnel injured.

    The unprecedented increase in Pakistani shelling along the International border and LoC recently, has created panic among the border people and they have started shifting to safer places.
