  • Patiala bride ensembled in a customised Designer Duo Rimple & Harpreet Narula’s lehanga

    Published on January 12, 2019

RAH Tribe | Harnoor, from Patiala, is the quintessential RAH bride, someone who has a deep love for her roots and heritage. For her Anandkaraj ceremony, Harnoor chose a flame-orange and rani-pink raw silk lehenga. Her lehenga is an amalgamation of various crafts found spread across undivided Punjab as well as certain areas of Rajasthan. The hand embroidered skirt is wrought with pittah embroidery using Kashmiri tilla, kasab, sucha gota, sippi and salma. It is paired a classic long kurti in flame-orange and a traditional odhna that is replete with an all over “patasha-butti” jaal inspired from a vintage archival textile and rendered using sucha gota and kachi patti embroidery.
