PayMe India empowers customers with ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ feature on ‘SALT’ app

New Delhi : PayMe India launched a unique application ‘SALT’ that allows users to buy something without paying immediately. The buyer enjoys a credit limit and can pay his bills later within a specified interest-free period. And, individuals who don’t even possess a credit card can avail of these services through SALT.

SALT merely requires the completion of a basic KYC process and the limit can be utilized either via ‘Scan & Pay’ or Merchant transactions. The transaction is taken care of by a ‘buy now, pay later’ service provider who pays to the merchant on the behalf of the buyer, i.e., an alternative to credit card. Though available only in Hindi and English languages, SALT app will soon be operational in Tamil, Telugu, Kannad, Marathi, and other regional languages.

While commenting on this new application, Mr. Mahesh Shukla, Founder of PayMe India said, “SALT is PayMe India’s aim of developing flexible finance options of trouble-free credit solutions and ‘one-tap’ instant credit limit that permits buyers to buy something but pay for it later within a specified interest-free period. What makes SALT unique is that even an individual not possessing a credit card can avail of its services. Repayment on SALT app is just a single touch away. To suit the convenience of credit takers, SALT also provides an option of repayment in EMIs, no additional charges and a bunch of exciting offers.”

Extensive deliberations and careful analysis were undertaken to make sure that the issue of instant credit or funds is laid to rest as effectively and securely as possible. Moreover, by providing an easy credit solution to people not having a credit card, SALT strives to minimize the burden on pockets as well,” added Mr. Mahesh Shukla.

The service portfolio of PayMe India comprises a variety of Fintech solutions that include instant personal loans, corporate loans and credit score improvement options. All of these services are designed to address the financial exigencies of people due to some medical emergency in their family, job loss, etc. The addition of SALT further diversifies the scope of PayMe India.
