Ashwin Palaparthi has packaged all his musical creativity over a year into “Plz… Vinadu – You will get addicted” today for listeners to relate and feel the resonance. “My music is valentine that awaits you but Plz… Vinaddu”, says musician Ashwin Palaparthi who is confident that the listeners will get addicted if they taste his musical drug. Recording and mixing is done at world-class studios by a great team of music professionals. The official Radio Partner for the album is 92.7 BigFM. Sreeram with Indian Idol fame happily sung the main song in the album. Plz… Vinaddu aims at giving kick to raw music lovers, one song at a time.

Meltingpoint Music is a new audio records venture that aspires to promote independent musicians and help them create private albums, no matter which genre of music or language they belong to, as long as they have the strength to “melt” any metal. It is founded by Ashwin and run by Dinesh as the Managing Director. Plz… Vinaddu, their maiden Telugu audio album will be launched in a function to be held in city at Best Western Jubilee Ridge, Hyderabad on 13th Feb, 2011 at 6 PM. The album will be launched on the eve of Valentine’s Day showing love towards several things, informed Dinesh addressing a press conference held in Media Junction here in city today.

Though the album is about ‘Love’, it doesn’t just stick only to the romantic kind, but explores various facets and emotions about Love. My only way to express love on anything is by painting musical tunes externalizing all the feelings, said Ashwin.

The Album comprises of nine tracks which include ‘Vandemaataram’ – a patriotic composition which is done in reaction to the brutal Mumbai attacks. ‘What happened to me’ is the main song of the album. It is an absolute high-voltage tune from composer’s heart dedicated to someone special. The third song is ‘Velige deepam’. It is somewhat a symphony style composition for the praising scribbled by a poetry savvy student on his multi-talented guru who showered inspiration.

The fourth one is title song ‘Plz…Vinaddu’. It is a foot tapping hip-hop style composition on a funny theme of a girl suggesting another girl not to listen to all the flirting words uttered by the boy. The fifth one is ‘Godavari’, a melodious composition to narrate the serenity created by River Godavari while sailing on it. ‘Challagali’ is the sixth song emotionally melodious composition on a magic that is brought by and gone with the wind. ‘Andala Vennela; is the seventh song composed in a slightly rock style on the exchange of vis-a-vis a romantic proposal.

‘Ye rojuna chusano’ is the eighth song composed in a retrospect folk style watching the koochie kooing between a newly married couple. ‘Ashwin unplugged’ is the ninth song which a raw and open solo by the composer Ashwin, carrying a message on what music means to him.

The Main song sung by Indian Idol Sreeram. The other singers include Murali Krishna,  Sreeram, Sahithi G, Vittal Rahul, Sahithi G, Pranavi,  Shashi,  Deepthi, Sukanya and Ashwin Palaparthi.

Ashwin Palaparthi and Kedarnath Parimi penned four songs each. They both wrote one song together.  Krishna Chaitanya wrote one song.

All compositions and musical work are Ashwin’s off-time creations, and Dinesh Puligundla, as the MD of Meltingpoint Music, is on the job of making this artistic asset reach the public.

The other team members behind the album include Mahesh T (Keyboard & Violin), Keerthi G (Guitar) and Sunny MR @ “31 db”, Mumbai (Sound Engineer).

Priced at Rs 50 the album will be made available for sale through several stores in Hyderabad and through several online stores in US such as iTunes.

Ashwin Palaparthi

Ashwin is a musician by heart and is a self-trained composer. He is also the Vice President, Innovation @ Applabs, the world’s largest software testing and quality management company. 32-year-old Ashwin has been in IT for more than a dozen years now and recently sold his company ValueMinds that built world’s first online software testing platform to AppLabs. His areas of expertise are Software Testing and Music Composition. He has delivered several Tech Talks, Seminars in International Conferences in London, HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Exporters Association) at Hyderabad etc and is an award-winning thought leader in his field. He has trained more than 5000 software testing professionals in city and is most sought after professional. And all this is achieved by Mr. Ashwin without any formal training in IT industry or Music. He is also a Numismatist, Philatelist who has began career just after 8th pass as delivery boy with DTDC. Pulugundla Dinesh

An entrepreneur from an Engineering background with a passion about creating an ecosystem for music, besides pursuing his other interests in the fields of information technology.  Dinesh’s first tryst with Music happened when he was doing his Engineering. In 2008, he coordinated to bring out an album by his two friends, as they had talent and no money, he along with other friends went to their rescue, working early mornings and late evening and going to college in the day time, mobilizing support from friends and helped the friend to realize his dream of bringing out an album.
