  • PM Modi addresses election rally in Telangana

    Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, TRS and Congress are the two faces of the same coin.

    Speaking at an election rally in Mahabubnagar of Telangana on Tuesday, Mr Modi alleged that TRS and Congress are dynasty parties which are mingled with each other as they have the same goals.

    He accused both parties of practising vote bank politics and minority appeasement.

    The Prime Minister also alleged that the TRS government had made many promises like two bedroom houses but never fulfilled.

    He said, Centre will provide a house to every family by the year 2022. Mr Modi said, Centre has already provided 1.25 crore houses along with power, water, taps and all basic amenities.

    He said, the condition of farmers in Telangana would have been far better if the UPA government had accepted the Swaminathan Committee report. He assured that the central government is coming forward to develop roads, rail projects, smart city, Amruth projects in Telangana. He also informed that 40 projects at a cost of 30,000 crore rupees are underway in Telangana.

    Earlier, addressing a public meeting at Nizamabad town, the Prime Minister alleged that the Congress has no internal democracy. He said that even TRS follows the same principles. He alleged that TRS government rule in the state has failed on the development front.

    Mr Modi accused TRS government of doing injustice to the poor people of the state by not implementing Ayushman Bharat scheme which provides free health medicare.

    He said, BJP rules on five principles which are- providing education to girls, employment to youth, care to elderly citizens, insurance for farmers and development in every section of society.

    On the other hand, TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday urged people to choose his party once again to continue the development works that his government took up.

    Addressing an election rally at Mahabubnagar today, the acting chief minister said, development works worth around 43 thousand crore rupees are in various stages.

    He also assured to employees of the state that the retirement age will be increased if TRS returns to power in the state.
