Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched a scheme to distribute property cards under the Svamitva scheme through video conference.

Our correspondent reports that property card holders include beneficiaries from 44 villages of Madhya Pradesh.

On the inauguration of the scheme, the Prime Minister discussed with Dasharatha Singh Maravi of Guraiya village in Dindori district of the state.

In his response, Dashrath Singh told All India Radio , News that the villagers would benefit from getting ownership cards.

Ownership Scheme beneficiary Shivprasad Dhurve of village Padrai Thakur of Bankhedi, Gram Panchayat of Hoshangabad district has got the lease.

Happy to receive the lease, Mr. Dhurve said that this scheme will help in the upkeep of the family.

The Central Sector Ownership Scheme launched from the month of April this year will not only give villagers a record and property card of their building rights, but the scheme will bring a big change in rural India and empower millions.
