Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 3.2-kilometre long Escorts Mujesar-Ballabhgarh corridor of the Delhi Metro through video-conferencing tomorrow.
Ballabhgarh will become the fourth city in Haryana to get Metro connectivity after Gurugram, Faridabad and Bahadurgarh. In a release, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said, after the opening of this extension, the entire Kashmere Gate – Raja Nahar Singh Metro corridor will become 46.6 kilometres long.
The extension of Delhi Metro’s Violet Line consists of two stations – Sant Surdas and Raja Nahar Singh. Currently, over 25 kilometres of Metro lines are operational across Haryana.
