Post flood awareness prog on ex-gratia grant, JE cum health mela

Kokrajhar : With the objective to create awareness the general public, a “Post Flood Awareness 
Programme on Ex-Gratia Grant and Japanese Encephalitis-Cum-Health Mela” was held today on 10th August 2019 at Saralpara Field under Kokrajhar District.
Organized by The People’s Aid, a Kokrajhar based NGO in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority, Kokrajhar and National Health Mission, Kokrajhar, the Awareness cum Health Mela was attended by Kokrajhar Additional Deputy Commissioner Dabeswar.Bora, Secretary of District Legal Service Authority Kokrajhar Bidyut Medhi, District Programme Manager(DPM) of NHM Kokrajhar Uttam Brahma.
Kokrajhar Additional Deputy Commissioner Dabeswar.Bora spoke about Ex-Gratia in detail and its 
eligibility criteria and the process to be followed for its application.
District Programme Manager(DPM) of NHM Kokrajhar Uttam Brahma delivered his lecture on Japanese Encephalitis, its symptoms and prevention. Three doctors of Kokrajhar Rupnath Brahma Civil Hospital also attended the programme and treated the patients at the health camp and also awareness the public on Japanese Encephalitis.
