    Prakash Javadekar congratulates Panna Tiger Reserve for remarkable work on tiger conservation

    Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that the Panna Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh has now been declared a UNESCO biosphere reserve. In a tweet, Mr Javadekar congratulated Panna Tiger Reserve for their amazing work on tiger conservation.
     
    There are currently 714 biosphere reserves in 129 countries, including 21 trans boundary sites, that belong to the World Network of Biosphere Reserves.
