  • QAI becomes Registered Education Provider (REP®) of Scrum Alliance®

    Published on April 19, 2011

New Delhi: QAI (www.qaiglobal.com), the leading global consulting and workforce development organization, has recently become the Registered Education Provider (REP®) of the internationally recognized body, the Scrum Alliance®. With Scrum Alliance’s REP® Status, QAI will be offering a variety of courses, designed to foster the skills needed to succeed and improve at Scrum and other Agile-related methodologies.

Scrum Alliance® is a non-for-profit organization whose mission is to increase awareness and understanding for Scrum, provide resources to individuals and organizations using Scrum, and promote the iterative improvement necessary to succeed with Scrum.

In order to become a REP®, organizations must demonstrate their commitment to quality Scrum-related training, by providing their courses, their trainer bios, and concrete ways in which they build an environment of continuous improvement.

QAI’s course content was thoroughly screened to verify that the material is consistent with Scrum and Agile principles. Similarly, the trainers were also evaluated on knowledge, experience and past track record.

Speaking on this achievement of QAI, Mitch Lacey, Scrum Alliance Board Member said,” The Scrum Alliance® REP® program benefits training organizations, of course, but it’s good for students too. Potential students know that if we’ve attached our name to a REP® organization, their training is solid. For instance, all of the CSD-track courses are reviewed by third-party industry thought leaders. That kind of commitment carries through in what we do for REP® organizations themselves, who know we will do all we can to promote their courses and their affiliation with the Scrum Alliance®.”

Commenting on this creditable attainment, Mr. Navyug Mohnot, CEO, QAI, said, “It’s not easy to become a REP®. Organizations must demonstrate excellence in courseware, trainers, and continuous improvement in order to be accepted. The Scrum Alliance® spent a good deal of time reviewing each and every aspect of our organization, course, and trainers. Being named a Scrum Alliance® REP® is quite an honor!”
