Growing up in the shadow of a talented family, Abhishek (famously known as Raanna) was intrigued by the film industry, fame, and glamorous life. Raanna’s sister was the rising star of her era. Watching Rakshitha dazzle on the television screen and big screen, mother Mamatha Rao, and brother-in-law Prem, Raanna developed a soft corner for the industry. At the beginning of 2022, Raanna made his debut with EK Love Ya, and now, as 2022 comes near an end, Raanna has his hands full with new project requests and script readings.

Raanna was in the final year of engineering when he decided to give all his heart to build a career in the film and entertainment industry. As a result, he went to The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York to hone his skills and learn acting. After completing his learning from Lee Strasberg, Raanna returned to India and gained exposure by working as an Assistant Director under the guidance of his brother-in-law and the famous director Prem.

“My process to get into films began in 2015, and Prem has been guiding me for 7 years. However, I never believed that a director of his calibre would helm a film for me. He is a brand and understands the audience’s pulse. I must thank my mother, my sister, and Prem for giving wings to my acting dreams,” shares Raanna.

When Raanna was asked about his upcoming projects, he said, “I have been involved in the process and it has been a good journey so far. We will announce the first look, title, production house, and other details soon. We hope it will go on floors soon, and we don’t want to divulge too many details. I can say that it will have a unique story and settings that can charm everyone.” According to reports, Raanna is currently training under professionals to perform stunts in his upcoming movie.

According to Raanna, his sister Rakshitha is his source of inspiration and the driving force that boosts his morale to chase his dreams. Raanna is a talented, handsome young man who is passionate and determined to create a name for himself in the film industry.

His debut Ek Love Ya got him splendid reviews and opened new doors to opportunities. Several filmmakers have approached Raanna to discuss scripts and storylines. Raanna’s fans are eagerly waiting for updates about his upcoming movie.
