Debutant actor and filmmaker Abhijit Patil who makes his Marathi film debut with ‘Rajmudra’ has already signed a web series titled ‘Assi Nabbe Pure Sou’. 

The actor has already been in the news for his Marathi flick for a long time. Currently, Abhijit is prepping for the film by undertaking acting workshops before the film goes on the floors. With that news creating the right buzz, Patil is all set to enter the OTT space with ‘Assi Nabbe Pure Sou’. The details about the series are yet to be unveiled but we hear that it will be streaming on a major OTT giant. 

Earlier this month, the actor shared his views that films meant for cinematic spectacle should release in theatres. Looks like, besides the big screen, Patil is all set to enthral the audience on the digital screens as well. When asked about the confirmation and the development of the series, Abhijit said, “I would not deny the news. But I cannot reveal much about the development of the series. I have signed the web series. However, currently, I am only focusing on ‘Rajmudra’. 

Moreover, Abhijit’s debut is in the pipeline, and the actor has made a smart move to enter the digital space. Looks like this is a masterstroke by the actor to connect to a larger audience. We hear that ‘Assi Nabbe Pure Sou’ is an entertainer based in the 80s era with its backdrop in Uttar Pradesh. 
Intending to offer the best to the audience, Abhijit is selective when it comes to projects. As of now, he is primarily focusing on ‘Rajmudra’ where he will be seen as an actor and a director. The film is said to be a social drama flick, and Patil’s character will have different shades as the film has elements like emotions, comedy, drama and entertainment.
