  • Magadheera makes Ram Charan popular in Japan

    charanfightNew Delhi : Leading food manufacturers in Japan named Ezaki Glico Co, Ltd recently printed Ram Charan’s photo on their biscuit packets. Charan’s popularity skyrocketed with his incarnation flick Magadheera. The film was released with Japanese subtitles and became an instant hit. To honour his popularity, the company introduced a cream biscuit product with name Charan Love Cream Biscuits.

    Ezaki Glico Co, ltd is a big confectionery company headquartered in Nishiyodogawa-ku, Osaka in Japan.

    Indian films are gathering a huge fan following worldwide. They are an entertainment package with emotional twists wrapped up in ninety minutes of reel.  Japan is one such country which watches Indian movies with awe. Rajnikath was one of the most popular stars that had immense fan following in Japan but these days, Ram Charan has taken a special place in Japan’s cine watchers heart. Actors like Salman Khan have a fan following in places like USSR where actor Mithun Chakraborty is also a great hit. His movie ‘Disco Dancer’ is still popular in theatres.

    Ram Charan started career as the leading man in the film Chirutha in 2007. His performance in the film earned him a Filmfare Best South Debutant Award and Nandi Special Jury Award that year. In 2009 Charan starred in the blockbuster Magadheera, which established him as one of the leading contemporary actors of Tollywood. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu for the film. Most of his films have been dubbed in other regional languages like Tamil and Malayalam and achieved success there too, contributing to Charan’s popularity in the neighbouring states. Charan is working on one Telugu movie Yevadu and is all set to make his Bollywood debut through Zanjeer, a remake of the film starring Amitabh Bachchan.
