    Red Bull gives wings to motorsport dreams with Red Bull Kart Fight!

    Chennai: The sight of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber’s RB7 Formula One car, with their roaring engines at the Indian Grand Prix, is still fresh in the minds of motorsport fans. So, why let this memory fade away just yet?

    To keep the energy and excitement alive, Red Bull Kart Fight is here to give fans another opportunity to experience the thrill of speed.  Fans can now begin a journey similar to the one taken by world’s best F1 drivers by starting off with the humble Kart.

    Red Bull Kart Fight being held for the first time in India, after successful runs in Netherlands, Japan, Germany and other Formula 1 venues will present to the winner a chance to go to the Red Bull Racing Factory in Milton Keynes. It will be an opportunity of a lifetime to see the place where the magic begins for the world champions.

    Red Bull Kart Fight will be held across three Indian cities – Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad starting November 24, 2011. Passionate motorsports enthusiasts from the ages of 15 and up will battle it out to record the fastest lap time to qualify for their city final. The top 32 from each city will then compete for a place in the national finals. The top 11 racers from each centre will get a chance to go full throttle and put their skill to the test on December 18, 2011 at Bangalore.

    Participants will have to visit their city venues and register themselves with the Red Bull team from November 24th onwards. Qualifiers will run for two weeks until 7th December.

    Red Bull Kart Fight seeks to provide a platform for young talent created by a team which can boast of a rich motorsports heritage. The program has trained budding racers under its Driver’s Training Programme, which is managed by Dr Helmut Marko. Red Bull has a legacy of identifying young talent, including Sebastian Vettel, the double Formula One World Champion. And each of those stories has begun the same way: with the humble Kart.
