Religare Health Insurance Company Ltd.(RHICL) has won the prestigious “Rising Star Insurer – Health Insurance” award , at The Indian Insurance Awards 2014. This is the second year in a row that Religare Health Insurance has been felicitated and recognized at Indian Insurance Awards. The award is a recognition of RHICL’s constant endeavour to set new benchmarks early in its stage of evolution in the health insurance industry and adhering to best practices.

Within a short span of its operational launch this is yet another feather in RHICL’s cap. Earlier the company had also bagged the ‘Best Technology Innovation Award’ at the 2013 edition of Indian Insurance Awards.

The Indian Insurance Awards have been conceptualized to honor performance, growth and excellence in the Indian insurance industry, and raise the benchmark year on year for industry participants. The awards were presented at a special ceremony that took place in Mumbai and witnessed participation from majority of insurance companies in India.

The jury members for the awards were Mr S B Mathur, Former Secretary General, Life Insurance Council; Mr R Krishnamurthy, Senior Advisor, Towers Watson; Mr R Chandrasekaran, Secretary General, General Insurance Council.
