Kokrajhar : A review meeting on the ongoing operation work against COVID19 and also to review the developmental works in the district was organised at Kokrajhar commerce college auditorium today.
Assam Social Welfare minister Pramila Rani Brahma chaired the meeting which was attended by MLAs- Rabiram Narzary, Mahendra Narzary
Kokrajhar Deputy commissioner Bhaskar Phukan, Superintendent of Police Rakesh Roushan and other senior officials of various departments.
Talking to Reporters, the minister said the meeting discuss on the ground situation at the quarantine centres and to adress the lacuna and problem were discussed during the review meeting.
Kokrajhar DC Bhaskar Phukan informed the media persons that there are a total of 40 quarantine centres in the district where returnees from other parts of the country belonging to Kokrajhar,Chirang and Baksa are housed.
He said the administration is leaving no stone unturned to provide best facilities to the people quarantined in the institutional quarantine centres.
