Ruchiekka Krishnani, Founder Signature1Concepts & IPLF show India Partner curated the concept of Revival of Swadeshi Spirit with the Support of KVIC (Khadi and Village Industries Commission) in association with IAMKHADI with the vision to revive weavers, artisans, hand spun weaves from India towards their sustainable livelihood development.

KVIC Chairman, Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena shared his belief that “Khadi & Village Industries are the soul of the Nation & the Heart of India. By showcasing our heritage at global platform will be the Pride for Nation”.

Ruchiekka Krishnani said I want to take PMO’s Vision forward A Tribute to Bapu ‘Khadi for Nation, Khadi for Fashion’ – the idea that Khadi can become a symbol of national pride and a fashion statement. Showcasing KHADI collection at British Asia Event will be a real Tribute on Bapu’s 150th birth Anniversary.

Organizers of IPLF Show Ms. Gurbani Kaur & Mr. Arjunpreet Mehta from London are excited to promote Khadi at IPLF show. IPLF Season 1 was counted amongst best British Asian events.

Swadeshi Spirit with unique showcase of Khadi Gramodyog collection with India Tri-colors & new print styling experiments with silk along with organic print sarees.

Also, show will witness the INNOVATION in KHADI by Rosy Ahluwalia, who experimented raw silk amalgamation with modern fabrics by giving unique designing & styling to her new collection inspired by the color of our National Bird PEACOCK.

Whereas Brand “G” by Dr. Kumar Guru Mishra will showcase an indigenous art form of Odisha – “Ikat” – in a contemporary manner in their latest collection REVIVAL which will showcase the diversity of weaves. This collection portrays the art emanating from remote villages in Odisha in a unique light and aims to help the weavers get their desired recognition.

Moreover, Tribe Amrapali will be showcasing the iconic collection inspired by ancient India elements & Indian charms based on handmade sanganeri paper made by artisans, the pieces are skillfully created through the rare finesse of handmade talent with the modern twist.

Moving forward Neetu Bali J&K based jewelry designer will be showcasing her handcrafted pieces inspired by Nature collection.
