Rishihood University inks MoU with the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA)

New Delhi : Rishihood University today has signed a MoU with the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), with the aim to foster long-term academic and scientific cooperation. The MOU will enable knowledge transfers and assistance, via training and mutual research collaborations in the areas of modern governance and evolving public policy.

Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) and Rishihood University have agreed to maintain collaborative relations to promote cooperation in the area of the capacity building of Public Servants. From training programmes, faculty exchange to joint research projects, many activities of this nature will be executed in order to achieve progress and enable mutual accomplishments.

This is yet another step to promote the need and value of academic collaboration to transform the society, and for Rishihood University to fulfil its primary objective of “creating a social impact ecosystem”, to further positive transformation of the nation.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kamlesh Misra, Vice Chancellor, Rishihood University, said, “I am glad to initiate this MoU process to drive a positive change in our society. The MoU will offer ample opportunities to explore, research and make collaborative developments across various departments. It’s exciting to provide such wonderful exposure to students and the faculty. We look forward to seeing the fruitful results of this collaboration.”

In the modern era of development it is imperative for the government to involve all facets of society including the private sector and civil society as partners in shaping the future of India. Speedy government reforms must be impactful enough to permeate to the grassroots level, for which effective public administration is required to fill existing gaps in the delivery system.

Sh. Surendra Nath Tripathi, Director General, Indian Institute of Public Administration, added that, “This collaboration will facilitate a new era of research in the area of Public Service. Through training and research developments, we aim to bring about positive changes in society.”

Rishihood University will continue to collaborate with like-minded institutions across the nation and globally to foster education, research and knowledge transfer for a more sustainable future. Existing partnerships also include a wide array of globally reputed institutions from across the world, such as the University for the Creative Arts, United Kingdom; Matsushita Institute of Government and Management, Japan; Kyungdong University, South Korea; Ural State Agrarian University, Russia; and Kaospilot School, Denmark, among others.

These partnerships provide an opportunity for students, teachers, and researchers to collaborate both in teaching and research to solve some of the most challenging problems of contemporary times, enabled by a globally active social impact ecosystem.
