Angamaly : Apollo Adlux Hospital to organise a Robotic Gynaecology Conclave on 26 May 2024. The one-day conclave at Adlux Convention Centre, Angamaly with focus on ‘precision, care and innovation’ will be held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Dr Urmila Soman, lead consultant, Minimally Invasive Gynaecology Robotic & Laparoscopic surgeon is the organising chair of the conclave.
The inaugural ceremony at 11:00 AM will be followed by immersive workshops, keynote presentations and interactive panel discussions led by Dr Urmila Soman, Dr Rooma Sinha, clinical lead gynaecologic robotic surgery, founder president AGRS (Association of Gynaecological Robotic Surgeons) and senior consultant, Apollo hospital, Hyderabad, Dr Rohit R Ranade, Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist and Robotic Surgeon, Narayana Health Mazumdar Shaw Medical Centre, Bangalore and Dr Anshumala Shukla, head of Minimally Invasive Gynaecology, Gynaecology Laparoscopic and Robotic surgeon, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Mumbai. Rajeev Bhaskar, senior manager, of Global Access, and Value Economics Intuitive and Dr Kamal Malik, head of clinical marketing, Intuitive will provide their insights into robotic surgery. Intuitive Surgical Team, the leading manufacturer of minimally invasive surgical robots have arranged two batches of simulation sessions for the first 10 registrants.
Emphasising robotic surgery, the conclave will provide a valuable platform for surgeons to collaborate knowledge, create technology awareness and gain the latest insights and techniques of Robotic Gynaecology.
