The company was presented the award at the 24th Annual TTG Travel Awards 2013 Ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand this evening.

Royal Caribbean has been voted unanimously by readers of TTG Asia, TTG China, TTG India, TTGmice, TTG-BTmice China and TTG Luxury for the award.  The TTG Travel Awards are given out annually to honour organizations in Asia Pacific’s travel industry for their strong commitment towards service excellence.

Royal Caribbean won the award for offering the best product, services and facilities.  This is exemplified by its innovative and family-friendly onboard features on its Voyager Class ships in Asia, such as the Royal Promenade, ice skating rink and full-sized sports court, as well as the brand’s friendly, engaging and personal Gold Anchor Service. This award is also recognition for Royal Caribbean for being the most professional sales and marketing team in terms of innovative ideas and servicing.

Commenting on the occasion, Ratna Chadha, Chief Executive, TIRUN Travel Marketing-exclusive India representative of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. said, “It is indeed an honour to win this major title for six consecutive years as this achievement highlights the consistent trailblazing first at-sea innovations, amenities and services of the brand. We hope to be consistent and in tune with changing times; we shall continue to deliver and make every voyage by sea unique for all our guests. This recognition, however, would not have been possible without the constant support of our travel partners who play a very significant role in our success story.”

Royal Caribbean has expanded its presence in Asia this year with the arrival of a second Voyager Class ship, Mariner of the Seas. Together with Voyager of the Seas, they are the largest and most innovative cruise ships based in the region. With their sheer size of 138,000 GRT each and signature features such as the Royal Promenade, ice skating rink and DreamWorks entertainment, the cruise brand aims to create a bigger wave of interest in cruising and redefine the cruising experience in Asia.
