Run for clean air organized at Haflong

Haflong :Commemorating world Environment Day 2019 with the theme ‘Air Pollution’ Dima Hasao Forest Department organized Half 
Marathon from Botanical Garden to Ranima Gaidinlu statue at Boro Haflong some 4 km on Tuesday.
More than 180 participants from various age groups took part in the half marathon and out of which five from male and five from female participants adjudged as the winners and they will be awarded during the celebration of world Environment Day tomorrow.
The marathon was participated by MAC, Nojit Kemprai, CCF, M Tungmung, DFOs, Ramen Das, N Jeme, T. Langthasa and others officials from the forest department.
This was followed by plantation of various plants in and around the statue of Ranima Gaidinlu by the participants and prominent citizens of Haflong.
