Rupee plunges 50 paise to two-month low of 51.17 against dollar

Mumbai : At the Interbank Foreign Exchange market, the rupee plunged 50 paise, to an over two-month closing low of 51.17 against the dollar, on Thursday. The rupee fell amid a steep fall in the stock market, and dollar demand by importers.
