New Delhi ; Foreign media says rural sector is showing the sign of life as the NDA government completes two years.
The media says, Standard chartered index of rural demand hit a 16-month high in March this year, after a prolonged slump.
A report by Bloomberg has said, the weather department’s forecast of above-average rainfall stands to broaden the revival of the rural economy.
Commenting that a revival in the countryside would ignite another boost for India’s economy, which is expanding at the fastest growth rate among major markets.
The study says, data suggest the worst may be over for Tractor and two wheeler industry. It may directly benefit rural wages and consumer non-durable goods which hit the highest since November 2014.
