Bengaluru : To elevate the teaching methodology and enhance the learning outcome of students, Ryan Edunation Services Pvt. Ltd, a leading operator of K-12 institutions has launched a platform for the teachers to present their innovative methods, strategies, techniques in the classroom. The ‘Lead by Example’ event celebrated its 10th edition which brought together innovative teachers from across the country’s Ryan Institutions to present their unique teaching methodologies to an esteemed panel of judges from the industry.
This panel consisted of Dr. A. Senthil Kumaran, Chief Confluencer and Co-founder of The Learners’ Confluence, Ms. Salini Nair, Manager of Professional Development at Oxford University Press, Ms. Sandhya Prasad & Ms. Ratan Gopinath from ‘The Teacher Foundation’, Bangalore, and, Ms. Lalitha Desikan, certified career guidance counselor.
The event witnessed an insightful discussion on the personalized teaching approach implemented by teachers across different cities. The panel of judges had an engaging conversation with the teachers and applauded the effective adaptation of experiential learning in the classroom. Teachers shared anecdotes of various fun learning experiences like – using hopscotch to teach integers, teaching concepts of physics in an amusement park, four square method for teaching poetry interpretation etc

However, several recent surveys including ASER 2023 reveals that the creativity level is staggered by a whopping figure of 17% among our students. Together, let us ensure that education not only equips our students with knowledge, but empowers them to become the compassionate, innovative, and responsible citizens our world needs.”

Amanora School, Pune emerged as the winners, and Tattva School, Bangalore as the runners-up, which is a testament to the dedication and skills of the teachers at these schools.
The efforts of these teachers were graciously applauded by notable figures like Anju Bobby, retd. Long-jump athlete, renowned architect Jinu Kurien, Mr Rushdee Warley, CEO Inspire Institute of Sport, and Radio Mirchi Bengaluru’s RJ Jimmy Xavier.
More than 50 participants from 6 schools across the country were able to further hone their unique teaching methods by participating in the event. Overall it can be said that the level of teaching took a massive leap at this event which was made possible by the combined efforts of all the teachers and industry experts present at the event.
