Sagar school conducted annual athletics meet 2012-13

Rajasthan – Students of Sagar School kept the sports flame ablaze with their astounding display in the various events during the annual athletic meet 2012-2013 at The Sagar School campus, held from 3rd to 6th December. The meet was declared open on 3rd December, by the Principal after a spectacular march past display. The students marched smartly and crisply. This was followed by the torchbearers run and the sports flame was set ablaze. There in followed a number of events over the next four days to test the athletes’ speed, stamina, resilience and strength.  The races, high jump, long jump, triple jump, short put, javelin throw, discus throw amply demonstrated the students’ perfection and performance in their chosen event. The sportsman spirit was very much evident as the participants lauded each other and pat on the backs and high fives were visible features even as the student spectators rooted for their houses.

The closing ceremony was also very exciting as after the events the prize distribution ceremony took place and winners marched proudly to the Victory stand to receive their medals, certificates and trophies. Sung Chang Kyong,  Amit Yadav, Jason Laishram Khushboo Mittal,  Archana  were declared the best athletes in their respective divisions.  Ruby house was declared as the best house. The Principal and the Vice Principal awarded the students. The Principal expressed his satisfaction at the performance of the students and declared the meet closed.
