Mumbai: Jacqueline Fernandez, one of Bollywood’s brightest new talents, along with Sudip Ghose, Group Director-Marketing, Samsonite South Asia Pvt Ltd, today presented Akanksha Foundation with a cheque in support of their joint vision to educate young minds of the future. Present on the occasion was Donali Joshi from Akanksha Foundation.

Speaking on the occasion, Sudip Ghose, Group Director-Marketing, Samsonite South Asia Pvt Ltd said, “Akanksha Foundation is a noble initiative that gives real opportunities to children who cannot easily help themselves. We hope that our contribution will enable Akanksha to maximize the potential of these children and provide them with a strong educational foundation. We are extremely grateful to Jacqueline for coming here as she has definitely brightened their day.”

While spending time with the children Jacqueline Fernandez said, “I am delighted to be here today with such eager, young children. I believe it is extremely important for all of us to be active, responsible citizens and build a stronger community. I am glad that Samsonite is supporting Akanksha towards achieving their vision for these children.”

Jacqueline Fernandez, herself, has a non-profit organization in Sri Lanka which focuses on empowering the underprivileged.
