Kumbh Mela city is all set for the last holy dip on the occasion of Mahashivratri tomorrow in Uttar Pradesh. With this Snan, the biggest religious congregation on the Earth, Kumbh Mela will also conclude.
Despite of bad weather lakhs of devotees have already reached Kumbh Mela city for the auspicious bath of Mahashivratri tomorrow. DIG Mela City Kavindra Pratap Singh told that more than 60 lakh people are expected to take bath tomorrow. He said that heavy security arrangements are in place for the sanan and additional force from neighbouring districts is pressed for traffic arrangements.
Entry of buses and heavy vehicles into the Prayagraj city has already been stopped from last night. No vehicle will be allowed in mela area from tonight. Special arrangements are in place at Lord Shiva temples in the city and mela area as devotees will also perform prayers there. Mahashivratri will start from 1.26 am tonight although the snan will start around 3 am in the morning.
