Sanskriti University Organised a Free Health Camp for Girl Students Under “Mission Shakti”

Sanskriti Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital (SAMCH) organized a health camp for girls under “Mission Shakti”. The main objective of the camp was to raise awareness about health and the importance of regular health check-ups. During the health camps, a team of students conducted a free blood test for cholesterol, sugar, haemoglobin and blood pressure.

Vice-Chancellor of Sanskriti University Prof. Dr. Rana Singh said “Mission Shakti Initiative is a government initiative for empowering girls. Under this initiative, we organized different programmes to empower our girl students, doctors & nursing professionals and provided day to day training to them for the upliftment of their own personality and for the society too. Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. These kinds of health camps are very helpful for creating health-related awareness.” He congratulated the team of doctors and faculty members of SAMCH for making sincere efforts in the process of conducting series of programmes on women empowerment.

The information about diet, exercise and weight control was also given in the camp. Sanskriti University has always taken measures to support the national policies and campaigns which have focused on pushing India and Uttar Pradesh forward. The University has been organizing series of programmes to accomplish the goals and objectives of Women Empowerment programmes envisioned by our visionary Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and visionary Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath.
