New Delhi : Leading producer of handmade carpets Saraswati Global Private Limited (SGPL), a leading carpet manufacturer in India with a legacy of 43 years opened a 5000 sq feet store at 1st Floor Khasra No. 426, 132, Mehrauli-Gurgaon Rd, opp. Pillar No, Ghitorni, Delhi. The store, launched as a part of its expansion plan across markets, houses the latest in floor covering/ carpets collection from Saraswati Global with exclusive designs. The initiative comes under Saraswati Global’s plans of expanding across the country to ensure a Pan India presence.

Saraswati Global Pvt. Ltd. India’s leading manufacturer of handmade area rugs further strengthens its retail footprint in India with the launch of its first store in Delhi, India. The newly opened store is spread over a total retail space of 5000 sq feet. The store is designed by Stambha Design House using signature design language. The store is an experiential journey into the brand’s rich history and decades of craftsmanship. It narrates vibrant stories from rural India through a curated ensemble of contemporary handmade rugs.

The store is home to a wide range of modern, contemporary, transitional and traditional hand-knotted rugs. The store offers hand-tufted carpets that combine the ancient craft of weaving with modern-day technology, and hand-knotted carpets that are one-of-a-kind rugs woven completely by hand on a special loom. All the products are of the premium category and some of them can take months to complete.

The 5000 sq feet store in Delhi, presents the customers a seamless space to touch and feel the products before buying. The exclusive range of carpets and rugs is available in wool, viscose, and cotton material and caters to the office and home interiors. The intricate and raveled designs are woven Romania, Abstract, Vista, Vector, and Boston styles.

Apart from helping the weavers with employment opportunities, Saraswati Global is also creating a scope of employment in retail. A total of 10 workers have been hired for the store in Delhi under various profiles.
