coalblockThe Supreme Court told the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday, that nothing should be left and no stone must be left unturned in finding out the truth in the coal block probe.

The apex court told the  agency to approach it in case it faced any impediment and asked it to not share its probe report with the government even while seeking a sanction for prosecution.

The Supreme Court also allowed CBI to expand its probe team since the scope of investigation had widened significantly.

It permitted the agency to remove tainted SP Vivek Dutt from the Coalgate probe team, but turned down its plea to shift DIG Ravi Kant who has been probing the coal block allocations between 2006 and 2009.
