    Jorhat : Following deadliest Hooch Tragedy that ever happened in the history of the country that took off nearly 200 lives at six places in the district off Golaghat and Jorhat in Upper Assam, when corpse carrying vehicles including vehicles from CRPF, Assam Police, ambulances various charity organizations including Rotary Club, Lions Club, the Sargayatra assembled in numbers that was a sea of Sargayatra vehicles queuing in front of the Mortuary of Jorhat Medical College hospital as dead bodies pouring into the Mortuary for postmortem since Feb 22, Friday last that was never witnessed before , said Ram Ghatak, a postmortem medical assistant from the JMCH who is serving since the age of 16 that os fopr the last 40 years.

     

    Some carrying 10, 5, 7, 2, 3 as stressors rolling down from various Wards of the JMCH that kept rushing for three consecutive days while VVIPs, ministers and leaders from various organizations including relatives, friends, all assembling to pick the bodies to their home for the last rite when the premises of the Jorhat Medical College hospital seems to be one of the most high alert zone for the past three days that ever witnessed, said Hemen Das, the official incharge of the Jorhat Police Station who has been supervising the entire situation.
