In Arunachal Pradesh, security forces have rescued 200 people from a landslide-hit area in Bhalukpong in West Kameng District. The civilians were reportedly stranded with their vehicles since Sunday noon. The state has been facing heavy rainfall since last week causing landslides and flash flood at many places. In Itanagar, a landslide in the Chimpu area has killed one and injured three. Water supply in the capital city has also been affected due to heavy rain.
