Seven CRPF jawans killed in a landmine blast in Chhatisgarh

In Chattisgarh, seven Jawans of Central Reserve Police Force,CRPF, were killed in a landmine blast by the Naxalites in the Dantewada district on Tuesday evening. Two others are also reported to have been injured in the blast. The incident took place near Borguda village between Konta and Sukma when the Naxalites triggered a landmine targeting a vehicle carrying police party.
In another incident , Naxalites torched about nine vehicles of a contractor engaged in road construction work in the Kanker district of the state on Tuesday.
