Hong Kong  – Solis Vanke International Conference Center (SVICC), the flagship project of Solis Hotels and Resorts, had the proud distinction as host of the EU-China Youth Forum For Participation.  A stellar lineup  of prominent speakers as well as hundreds of university students from all over the world assembled at SVICC on August 11th to enjoy a day of idea exchange and sharing, highlighted by an appreciation of SVICC’s advanced eco-friendly aspirations through a building tour.  The forum coincides with the 2011 Summer Universiade, the largest international event for Shenzhen this year.   Appointed as the official venue of the EU-China Youth Forum For Participation, this occasion also marked the debut of SVICC, being its first day of official operation.

As the inspirational landmark Shenzhen development and stunning new project designed by world-renowned architect Steven Holl, Solis Vanke International Conference Center is the forum’s indisputable choice of venue.  “We are honored that the world-class standards of SVICC’s facilities and its services are indeed representative of the Youth Forum’s caliber.  The facilities and event amenities, notably the 470-seat auditorium which is the largest in the city, has the capacity to house all the forum participants.” Mr. Sascha Hemmann, General Manger of SVICC commented.  “Most importantly, the entire SVICC is built on the concept of sustainability and being environmentally friendly.  In these regards, the EU-China Youth Forum and SVICC share the same tenets and visions which, without being cliché, aim to build a better tomorrow and benefit the future generations.  All these compelling factors make SVICC the suitable venue for the meaningful event.”
