Sightsavers launches “Ask the Doctor” on Independence Day

Mumbai: Keeping in mind quality eye health care and avoidable blindness, this Independence Day Sightsavers launches its one of a kind key initiative called “Ask the Doctor”. The motto behind launching this on Independence Day is to offer individuals ‘Independence from eye ailment’ or ‘Freedom from avoidable blindness’.

Following the trend “Giving to the Society’ this service would be provided entirely free of cost and that too online so that you can receive quality advice from the comfort of your home. Through this initiative Sightsavers aims to connect you with their Sr. Ophthalmologist so that you can receive expert advice/opinion on any eye health issue that you may be facing.

Sight savers how everproposes that for a detailed investigation it is advisable that you should consult an eye specialist. Through this initiative the organization would takeno responsibility for the cure of your eye.  The whole purpose behind this initiative is to enhance general awareness about common eye problems and to provide basic guidance.One is advised to consult an independent eye expert before taking any prescription.

Besides medical advice, Sightsavers is more than happy to help you with any query around blindness and/ or low vision.
